"For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but have eternal life," Jesus Said. (John 3:16)

Pricie Eliza Jones may have left her worldy body, but will never perish in the hearts of those who loved her so dearly. She lived a long life of 90 years, and in those 90 years impressed upon the hearts of everyone she came into contact with true love and devotion. Her and her husband of 51 years, David Franklin Jones, raised 9 children together: Addie Mae Brewer, Olive Branch, MS, Mary Nell Jones, Olive Branch, MS, Lila Darnell, Independence, MS, Sarah A. Henly, Byhalia, MS, Susie A. Jones, Kilmichael, MS, Norman "Sonny" Jones, Olive Branch, MS, John E. Jones, Olive Branch, MS, Eugene "Lester" Jones, Looxahoma, MS, and Harold Franklin Jones, Mountain View, AR.

Amazing grace! How sweet the sound!
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found;
Was blind, but now I see.

'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved.
How precious did that grace appear,
The hour I first believed.

When we've been there ten-thousand years
Bright shining as the sun,
We've no less days to sing God's praise,
Than when we first begun.

Mrs. Jones was a simple woman, a woman of inner strength, and an evident belief in the Lord. She loved nothing more than to be in her garden, watering and taking care of her beautiful flowers. Some of my fondest childhood memories are those of herself and I walking through her large garden of flowers and talking about anything that came up. The sweet smell of the flowers mixed with the warm air of a Mississippi summer made her smile only more radiant. She will be missed by those who loved her, but we all know that she is now reunited with her husband and they are in heaven watching down and protecting us all. This page is dedicated to the memory of a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend.

The Lord is my sheperd; I shall now want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
